 Effective
communication between school and home is very important.
Parents are often frustrated when information
fails to to reach them. One of the ways we are trying to
improve this situation is by making more information available
through the site.
One important way you can keep up to date is by subscribing
to our mailing list. You can do this at the bottom left of
this page. This will enable you to receive
regular e-mail updates of news and events at Millthorpe.
The Newsletter will continue in its normal format and be
available for any parent who would like a hard copy. It
is, however, now available for download on
our documentation page. This not only has the advantage of
enabling you to see the newsletter in colour but it could
also cut down on the amount of resources required
to produce 1000 copies!
Throughout the site there are opportunities for you to contact
the school. You may have a news item which could go in the
home page, a question for the school governors, photographs
for the Gallery, suggestions for documents available for
download or a FAQ that could be added to help new parents.
Please use these.
In addition, we also welcome any general suggestions as
to how you think the site could develop. |
