Key Stage 3 Reports

Year 7, 8 and 9 will receive three reports per year. All reports will include written subject targets giving specific areas for improvement, current assessment levels, end of year targets as well as information regarding behaviour, effort and homework where appropriate. Reports will also include a written comment from the form tutor and if deemed necessary, a comment from their subject teachers and the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Stage 4 Reports

Years 10 and 11 will receive three reports per year. All reports will include written subject targets, giving specific areas for improvement, an end of course prediction, a school target (which has been negotiated between the student and subject teacher) as well as information regarding behaviour, effort and homework where appropriate. Reports will also include a written comment from the form tutor and if deemed necessary, a comment from their subject teachers and the Senior Leadership Team.

The time between a report being completed by subject teachers and it being sent home will be no more than two weeks. This means the information received by parents/carers will be up to date and relevant. As reports are being produced throughout the course of the year, staff and parents/carers are able to address any concerns or underperformance as soon as they arise. Immediately after every reporting point tutors, Directors of Achievement and Student Support Officers are given the information and intervention can then take place to support students in achieving their potential.

Aspiration Charts (Key Stage 4)

Aspiration Charts take FFT estimates and put them into bar-charts to make them easier to use. Each subject has a bar-chart with the most likely grade coloured in orange.
