Making decisions about the future can be daunting and confusing. There are lots of different options available to our students and we want them to be in the best position to make those choices in an informed and knowledgeable way.

Students follow a programme of events in school to help them start considering future career paths and to support them in developing employability skills. The START programme is available for all students to use as a way to focus down areas of interest for further investigation.

In addition we have employed the services of Shine to provide independent and impartial careers advice and guidance. Please click here to read more about the Shine Careers Service.

START is an online careers learning tool where students can input details about their skills, qualities and interests. These are used to generate job suggestions which they can use map an educational pathway to their ideal career. Students can also see live job and apprenticeship vacancies.

eCLIPS is an online careers information and guidance resource available to all our students and their families. In addition to advice and support on making choices and post-16 pathways, it also allows you to search for specific job information or search based on specific interests. All factsheets on the website are fully printable.
