We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Monday 12 April. Just a few reminders:
- Term starts with a B week.
- Full uniform, including appropriate school shoes, is compulsory. Form Tutors will be checking uniform daily and making contact home where there are issues.
- Students will need a refillable water bottle as stocks of drinks in plastic bottles from the canteen are being phased out.
Earlier this week, the government confirmed that face coverings should continue to be worn in secondary school communal areas and classrooms as a precautionary measure when students return after the Easter break until 17 May at the earliest. The situation will be reviewed at this stage.
Can you please ensure your child(ren) brings a face covering to school every day and that they must not share masks. Disposable masks should not be worn more than once and, therefore, are not recommended.
Prior to the return to school on Monday 12 April, students should take a test as normal on the evening of Sunday 11 April. The results should be reported online as positive, negative or void both on the NHS test and trace self report website and via the school’s Google Form.
If your child receives a positive result, in addition to registering the results online, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we have immediate information.
Year 11 Prom
If your son/daughter in Year 11 would like to attend this year’s prom, tickets should be paid for by Friday 16 April.
