Welcome to Millthorpe School.

Millthorpe School is both popular and successful. We aim to meet the needs of all the young people in our care, encouraging excellence and providing both opportunity and all necessary support. Our dedicated, experienced teachers and support staff work closely with every pupil and our Ofsted inspection reports recognise the high quality of teaching and learning within the school. Millthorpe is a specialist Language College, has recently been awarded specialist status in Science and has achieved the International Schools Award.

Good behaviour, hard work and pupil participation are central to our high levels of achievement and the school is keen to develop effective partnerships with parents. Visitors are always welcome at our Open Evening in the autumn term and throughout the year by appointment.

Part of our ongoing commitment to improve communication with parents has been the development of our website. The site not only contains a significant amount of information about the school but also provides the facility for effective two way communication.
